(The Wildwoods – New Jersey)  The Wildwoods Convention Center is populating several dates in 2012 with conferences, concerts and other events. For more than a year, the Wildwoods Convention Center in collaboration with the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority have aggressively instituted enhancements  around Wildwood, NJ to entice more conventioneers and vacationers to the Jersey Shore island. The roster of scheduled tradeshows encompasses a variation of organizations.

In its inceptions in the 1950s, The Wildwoods catered to East Coast dwellers as a resort

isled along the Atlantic ocean, the New Jersey shore.

In 2002, the Wildwoods Convention Center was built to cater to businesses, organization and tradeshows.  This spring, the 2012 bridal fair is a confluence of more than 100 vendors at the center. Complimentary admission features a fashion showcase of bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, bridal accessories and other wedding-centric attire.

The Wildwoods Convention Center is also coordinating weddings and reception halls for brides and grooms to be.

Next, the Wildwoods Convetntion Center host sthe Cheer Tech cheerleading competition on April 17, 2012. the complimentary affair opens at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

On May 27, 2012, the Wildwoods kicks off the official summer season with an “ocean media day.”

Guestspeakers and kite flying are the highlights of the festivities.

The Department of New Jersey American Legion organization is also on the event list from June 7 through the 9th, when the group gathers for its annual conference at the Wildwood Convention Center. A parade also commemorate the American Legion along the Boardwalk.

Yet, a rampant convention schedule is among the new hotel development projects underway in Wildwood. According Laurn Suit, a reporter of the Shore News Today, The Morey Organization possesses initial blueprint for the Grand Wildwoodian. The Wildwood Boardwalk hotel would become the next door neighbor and merged with the Star Lux Motel, totally 140 rooms. The proposed new Wildwood Boardwalk hotel would accomodate visiotrs ot the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Meanwhile, given the growing number of summer events and fairs at the Wildwood Convention Center, family vacationers fare best with early bird reservations to the Wildwood hotels.
