To ascertain whether the Wildwood motel is well worth the stay, we reviewed comments posted at TripAdvisor.com, Raveable.com, TravelBot.com, Hotels.com and other review sites. Based on the feedback and an overview of Harbor Light Motor Inn’s Web site, here’s what we learned:

Traveler’s profile. Ideal for the best friend getaway, family, work and play, the Wildwood hotel motel is ideal for people, who do not plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

Rooms:  Previous guests complain that the rooms are designed in outdated 70’s décor.

Recent news: Research shows that this Wildwood hotel motel  recently updated their bathrooms. Reports at Raveable.com indicate that the Harbor Light Motor Inn has not been cited for bed bugs.

Special Packages: According to the information posted on the Harbor Light Motor Inn Web site, during the summer month or the high season, this Wildwood,  NJ hotel offers numerous specials. Although, the motel’s weekly hotel deals are competitive with other hotels near Wildwood, travelers might find some of the hotels policies to be convoluted and in some cases consumer incompatible. For instance:

• All reservations have a deposit requirement that is prorated according to the length of the guests’ stay. A one-week rental requires a two-night deposit.
•  The Harbor Light Motor Inn requires guests to pay balances upon arrival.
•  Also, special hotel packages have to be remitted in cash only.

Cancellations: This Wildwood hotel motel institutes stringent cancellation guidelines. For instance, visitors must submit cancellations in writing two-weeks in advance. Moreover, all cancellations are subject to a 25 percent administration or service fee. And any cancellations, made within the 14 days, are not entitled to a refund.
